Her story

Inspired by Heather

Heather Cutler was a registered nurse in Newfoundland and Labrador. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022, she and her family learned how hard it can be to find testing, treatment and clinical trials close to home. The foundation that bears her name was founded in her memory in 2024. Its work is the commitment that followed: fairer access to pancreatic cancer care, for everyone facing this disease.
