Finding a group that fits

Before registering, check:

  • Is it intended for patients, caregivers, or both?
  • Is it specific to pancreatic cancer?
  • Can you attend from your province or territory?
  • Is there a fee or a waiting list?
  • Who facilitates the group?
  • What are the privacy and participation expectations?
  • Can you attend without speaking, or without using your camera?

From our family

Heather attended a virtual support group through her illness. At first she sat quietly, rarely speaking. Over the weeks she began to open up, and the meetings became a gathering of friends — our family would join after supper to listen and encourage her. When she could no longer speak for herself, we joined on her behalf, and the group kept reaching out. It is one reason this directory exists.
